About This Practice

Built for Triangle agents. Only Triangle agents.

There are plenty of general accountants in Raleigh. We focus on one thing: the financial side of being a self-employed real estate agent in the NC Triangle. That narrow focus is the whole point.

Who We Work With

Self-employed real estate agents in the NC Triangle

Raleigh. Durham. Chapel Hill. Cary. Apex. Wake Forest. And the stretch of I-40 and I-540 connecting them all. This is a service-area practice, so we know the market you're working in.

We work best with agents who are in their first few years as 1099 earners and want to stop guessing about taxes, or who have been independent for a while and realized their financial system isn't keeping up with their production.

We do not serve: W-2 employees, brokers managing large teams, commercial-only firms, or clients outside North Carolina. That focus is what lets us be genuinely useful to the people we do serve.

How It Works

Simple by design. That's intentional.

Step 01

Start with a Complimentary Tax Analysis

Tell us where you are in your first year or where things feel messy. Your Complimentary Tax Analysis shows where you stand and whether we're the right fit.

Step 02

We build your system

Depending on what you need, we set up your books, calculate your quarterly estimates, clean up prior records, or walk through entity options. We use straightforward tools you can actually see and understand.

Step 03

You focus on closings

Once the system is in place, taxes stop being a source of stress. Quarterly payments go out on time. Filing season is planned, not panicked. You know your numbers.

What to Expect

Plain language. Real numbers. No surprises.

We explain things in plain English, not tax code. When we give you a number, we tell you where it came from. When something changes in NC tax law or IRS guidance that affects commission earners, we tell you about it before it matters.

We're straightforward about what we can and can't do. We provide general financial education and work with the numbers agents actually deal with: commission checks, 1099-NEC forms, Schedule C, self-employment tax, quarterly estimates, and business deductions. We're not a CPA firm and we don't provide individual legal advice.

What we do is help you understand your financial picture clearly enough to make good decisions. For most first-year agents, that alone is a significant upgrade from where they start.
